Interesting Story of Chess and its Developer

History of Chess

Chess is originated in Indian subcontinent in the 6th century in Gupta Empire. It was early known as Chaturanga and Chatrang. Chatrang became Shatranj when Muslims came in this area during 7th century. The game reached in Russia and Europe in the 9th century. European gave it the name of Chess. Rules of the Chess was changed and developed various times, until now it has reached its current shape and rules.
In the past, chess was a part of noble culture and known as kings’ game. It was used to teach war strategy to princes and commanders. It is like two armies each lead by a King.

Story of Chess

Here is also a very interesting story which is believed to be about the invention of Chess.
This game was developed by a mathematician of that time. He presented this game to the king. The King liked this game so much that he offered to the developer anything he wished for. Developer replied that he would like one grain of rice for the first square of the board, two grains for the second, four grains for the third and so on doubled for each of the 64 squares of the game board". The king was astonished that why this poor man not asked for gold or silver coins? The King ordered to fulfill the request of the developer but soon it was revealed that it is not easy to fill these squares with rice grains as per the developer’s condition. In fact the whole empire supply of rice was bushed before the 30th square was reached. It is actually impossible to fill all the squares of the chess board with rice grains with this formula. Land never produced this much rice in a single time.

Can you guess how many rice grains (in numbers) and how much rice (in weight) would be the exact answer?

Now a days, Chess is not only a game but it is also related to several branches of mathematics. It also provided basics of computer science. Do you ever think why a byte is equal to 8 bits and not to 10 bits, why a kilobyte is equal to 1024 bytes and not to 1000 bytes? Because it is based upon the structure of chess game, there are 8 squares in a line, and a total 8 lines. So the number of bytes in computer science also moved in 8s; 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024.

How to Trace Location of Friends using Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger?

Finding out the truth about where your friend is very easy now. Usually we don’t need to trace location of anybody but sometimes we want to know the exact current location of someone, especially in the case when you are waiting for someone and he is continuously telling you “on the way” lie but actually he is still at his home or office. Sometimes our friends lie to meet us and make excuses. It can also be used to know the location of your spouse, children or younger siblings. If you think that anyone is not giving you true information about its current location, you can easily find his location. We can track exact location of our contacts to know whether they are lying or not.

Today I am going to tell you an easy and proven way to track the targeted person’s location. The person, whom you want to track, must have a smart phone with Facebook messenger or Whatsapp installed.

Trace Location using Whatsapp

Insist the contact (whom you want to track) shares his current location with you by tapping on the ‘clip icon’ on top bar, then select ‘Location’ and then select ‘send your current location’ on the top of the list, ask him not to select any other option from the list.
trace-whatsapp-location
Trace Whatsapp Location

You can find if he/ she has entered the address manually by selecting any other address from the list. There is a hint in the manner the location of the sender appears in message. If it’s a real GPS-based current location, the location share will appear as a dropped pin without any address below the map image. But if it is not his current location and he has entered it manually, its address will appear below the map thumbnail image.
find-location

Trace Location using Facebook Messenger

The same feature is also available in Facebook Messenger. So if your friend is using it, you can still ask him to share his location the builtin feature of the FB Messenger. Look for the "location button (pin drop)" while typing message and select it to share your location with the friend.
In FB Messenger too, you can check that either the sent location is automatically sent or selected manually in the same way as described above.

There are many facilities that are readily available in today’s high end mobiles but we don’t know to use these features/ facilities due to our unawareness about it. This is one of these features. If you know any other such feature, please share it with us.

Best Whatsapp Tips and Tricks - 2016

WhatsApp is a popular instant messaging mobile application to send text messages, images, video, audio messages or even to place an internet call. Facebook acquired Whatsapp in 2014 for US$19 billion. It has one billion active users, handling about 42 billion messages a day. The app is available for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows devices.

You probably know Whatsapp but I think many of you don't know all of its features. Here you will learn some of the best Whatsapp tips and tricks.

How to Send Private Messages in Bulk

You can send public messages privately as you send Bcc emails. This feature works in the same way as Bcc in the email. You can send out a group message without everyone in the group seeing who else received that message.
Tap the Options icon at the top right (three dots) and then go to New Broadcast. Enter the names of all the contacts you want to send your private message to, tap Create button, write your message and then send it. Your recipients will get the message as if it was a private message sent only to him. Only people with your mobile number in their address book will receive your broadcast message. You can create a broadcast list of your contacts once, and then whenever you want to send messages to all, you can simply do it using broadcast message.

How to Hide your 'Last Seen', Profile Photo and Status

There is usually a "last seen" time under the name of your contacts, which tells you when they last opened the app. You can hide your “last seen” time, profile photo and status from strangers or even your friends.
Tap the Options icon at the top right of WhatsApp, go to Settings, Account, Privacy. You can set visibility of ‘Last seen’, Profile photo and Status to 'Everyone', 'My contacts' or 'Nobody', depending on how much privacy you want.

How to Mute irritating WhatsApp Group Chats

If you don’t want to get notifications from some unwanted groups but you also do not want to leave the group as it may offend your friends, you can mute it. You will not receive any further notification from those groups and no one even knows it as you are still member of the group.
In WhatsApp, go to the Chats tab, open the group you want to mute, tap the Options icon at the top right corner, Tap Mute and then select the time. Uncheck the “Show notifications box”, if you want to never get notifications from that group.

How to check the time when your message was read

Two blue check marks indicate that the recipient has read your message. But if you want to know the exact time when your message was read, you can check it using this method.
In Android, just tap and hold on the message, and then tap the Info option in order to get the exact time it was read by the recipient. In iOS, just tap and drag the message to the left to know the details.

How to use Whatsapp on the web

You can chat with your Whatsapp contacts on your desktop or laptop too. Click here to read complete details.

How to Change your WhatsApp Background Wallpaper

You can change the default wallpaper in WhatsApp. Go to Options (three dots on right top corner), Settings, Chats and Calls, Wallpaper. Tap WhatsApp to download the WhatsApp wallpaper pack, or Documents to select images from your phone gallery. Select an image and tap Set Wallpaper.

How to Hide the Blue Ticks

Two blue ticks let your contacts know that you have read their messages. But you can hide these blue ticks very easily. By using this option, you would not also know when your contacts read your messages. Tap the Options button, Settings, Account, Privacy and then Uncheck the Read receipts box.
But if you want that you can see these blue ticks but stop others seeing when you have actually read a message, here is a trick for it. Before you open the specific message, put your mobile phone on airplane mode or switch internet off. Read the message and then close it while being still offline. After it you can put your mobile in normal mode. The ticks will not turn blue and the sender will not know that you have read it.

How to Run Multiple Whatsapp Accounts in a Single Mobile Phone

Just like 2 sims you can have 2 Whatsapp accounts on a single mobile phone but for it you have to install a separate app. Visit Play Store and search for 2 Whatsapp accounts, you will see a number of apps, select one and enjoy.

Which of the above tip is best? What is your best tip? Leave your comments.
